The British Airways twitter account seems that was hacked (or was an internal employeer on a bad mood?) and they are lauching an investigation. An offensive message was retweeted with racism content (you can check it on the image bellow). The BA account has more than 210.000 followers. After the retweet was deleted, staff from BA sent an apology tweet. It said: “Apologies for the last RT. We are sorry for any offence caused and are investigating how this may have happened.”. Let’s keep our eyes on this to understand what really happened. Now we ask you IT Security Professionals. Does your company has a twitter account? What do you do to protect it? Don’t be the next. Use a very strong password, don’t trust any thirdy party application revoking all access!
