Hi Everyone! I wanted to announce our first meeting of the year:

The agenda will be as follows:
- ISC2 Lake Country Chapter Intro
- Review survey results
- Presentation
- Networking time
On the survey we asked what presentations people would like to hear and would anyone like to offer to do a presentation. There were a lot of good suggestions but I have no way to connect names of people willing to give a presentation so I’m asking for volunteers. Here is a summary of the suggestions – threat landscapes, application security, pen testing, BYOD security, security frameworks, malware, security strategy, managing cloud service providers, security site assessments, Incident response, disaster recovery, IT audit, phishing, best practices, SOCs, risk/vulnerability management.
It doesn’t have to be a pure presentation only but could be a light presentation with roundtable discussion. I think some of the real value we can gain from this group is learning what others are doing in their organizations. Please try to let me know of the end of next week if you are interested. Once we know the topic, I’ll revise the agenda and send something out again.
